Esoterica Continues to Improve
Slowly but surely we are recovering here in Sterling. The store is more and more under control, and we are getting small improvements made and putting our stamp on things. All of the business signs are now up - and the Classroom is ready to go into Full Employment Mode. We have Mindfulness Meditation on Tuesdays, Belly Dancing for Fitness on Wednesdays, Pagan Path Meetings on Thursdays... A Lifestyle Coaching class begins this coming Sunday to help you realize your dreams and create a daily strategy for organizing yourself and creating positive change in your life. There will be Past Life Regression classes coming up, and Group Hypnosis classes, plus a Handwriting Analysis Class (and more.) We will also start hosting a Writer's group this month. So much excitement, so much potential for growth and new directions! Leesburg First Friday!
Swing by Leesburg Friday, April 3rd for First Friday! Over 25 Specialty Shops, Art Galleries, Antique Shops and Restaurants will be open until 9 pm or later, many offering free refreshments and/or special sales. Leesburg's First Friday Gallery Walk is presented the first Friday of the month by Participating Merchants in partnership with the Loudoun Arts Council and Town of Leesburg. Reiki III
Come out Saturday, April 4th from 10 am to 3 pm to continue your journey into Healing! Reiki II practitioners will learn the final healing symbols as well as how to pass attunements. Each student is attuned to the Reiki Energy to become a Certified Reiki III Practitioner. Class includes manual and certificate upon completion. Seminar costs $385, preregistration is required.
Magickal Herb Gardening from Seed to Harvest
Join us from noon to 5 pm at Esoterica in Leesburg, VA, Saturday, April 11th, to learn how to plan, bless, plant, maintain and harvest your very own magickal garden with this fun, interactive class. Students will receive Magickal Gardening booklets as well as two magickal herbs to take home. Class costs $55. Seating is limited to 25 and students MUST preregister and prepay. We will NOT be accepting drop-ins for this class.

Platform Readings
Join us Sunday, April 19th, for Platform Readings with Mediums Rev. Bob Hickman and Kevin Baird, from 1 to 3 pm. This is a 2 hour session where the Mediums will channel messages from the other side for the class participants. Come out for QiGong Tuesdays at 7:30 pm. Qigong uses slow, sincere movements to cultivate the energy of life that exists all around us and pull it into the body to increase every aspect of health. Class costs $15.
Wednesdays: Spirit Circle
Join us at 7:30 pm on Wednesdays for a Gathering of people, regardless of sex, age, religious belief or creed, all coming together to explore their spirituality and share their experiences. A donation of $5 is suggested.

Esoterica will be closing early Mondays and Tuesdays at 7 pm till the last week of February. Mindfulness Meditation will resume on the 23rd of Feb, and Spinning and Qigong Classes will start back up on the 24th of Feb.

Charity motorcycle show will feature all makes and models of motorcycles with judging for best bikes, most creative, etc. This event is open to the public. For more information please contact the Downtown Saloon at 703-431-1256.

CHANNELING
Many of you have written enquiring as to exactly what is "Channeling".
Good question! Channeling according to the American Heritage College Dictionary states-- "CHANNELING - The act or practice of serving as a medium through which a spirit guide purportedly communicates with living persons."
I like this definition, but I would expand it to include other forms of channeling such as channeling music or art...I've met many artists who say that their creations come from outside of themselves, and that they are a conduit for the Creative Force. I agree.
If you are interested in learning more about channeling, keep watching as I will soon be releasing DVDs that you can purchase of actual channeling sessions I do with my guides!!!
When I channel, I enter a trance state that allows me to step aside from my consiousness and body, and allow the guides to enter and use my body, particularly my voice box, to communicate. I assure you it is a totally painless and harmless practice. As most mediums will tell you, while in trance, they are not fully present, and therefore, don't recall most of the information that has passed through them. Thank goodness we now have video and tape recorders to capture the phenomena. In fact, I often say, I am so lucky because I get to sleep while working!
Many who have attended channeling sessions with me have come away amazed at the experience. I must admit--I too, am fascinated by it ...Though I know the technical mechanics of it, how it all exactly occurs is still in many ways a mystery to me...

Ron is available Friday -Monday to read palms and analyze handwriting. Leoni is available to read Tarot Thursdays through Saturdays. Appointments are recommended, since she books up quickly. Psychic Medium and Trance Channeler Rev. Saturday 17 May at Esoterica!!!
Reminder that tonight we have David La Fleur - from 8 til 10 - playing in the Gazebo at Esoterica. Come and listen to his wonderful folk and bluegrass music - amazing guitar and Mandolin work! Concert is free - but we urge folks to tip heavily (and often ;-> ) so that our wonderful musicians continue to come back and play their special music for us. David plays a wonderful mix of his own music and cover tunes. Twill be sure to delight and sooth the soul. We have coffee, tea and cookies available too - in case those munchie urges hit you mid-concert. And of course - all the wonders of Esoterica to browse through - and tonight we have the AMAZING Bob Hickman, a renowned medium, who will be available for readings all day and evening. Come By NOW!!!
